Representative Stanley of Kentucky made a plea1 in the House of Representatives today for action on his resolution calling for an investigation of the U'ntteJ States Steel corporation. Ho characterized the corporation as "Lawless, defiant and pernicious nionopolj,' and demanded de-manded that the "guilty, no matter how high or powerful, be brought to the bar of justice." "If this government," said Mr. Stanley, "is serious and earnest In its determination to enforce the Sherman Sher-man anti-trust law; it is In honor bound to call this greatest of all combinations com-binations and most pervading of all trusts to justice."
