The house decorations were sweet peas and daisies, tho artistic arrangement arrange-ment of which mado a charming effect ef-fect To each guest was given a corsage cor-sage bouquet of sweet peas n.nd daisies. Tho Indies cut for prizes, Mrs. R, E. Bristol being tho recipient ot the first prize, a beautiful bnsket of dainty Rcnalssanco design, and Mrs. W. W. Fleetwood, second prize, a Burns-Jones picture. The Child Culture club aro meeting for annual election of officers this afternoon af-ternoon with Mrs. Dr. Gowans, instead of meeting at the home of Mrs., Browning, as previously announced. CARMEN DAN-. Thursday evening the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen gave a dance at the Congress Dancing academy. A large number woro in attendance and an enjoyable time was had by all. Miss Violet Heath of this city has just returned from a three months' visit with relatives and friends of Bolso, Ida. |
