Dohcrty against the Northern Pacific, upheld as reasonable rea-sonable the rule of the. Pullman company not to sell seat checks between the hours of 10 p. m. and 7 a. m. Doherty, with four companions, com-panions, boarded a solid Pullman train at Butte at 6 a. in. The conductor permitted the other four to buy two berths, each man paying 75 cents. From Doherty, who was the odd man, he asked the full price of the berth to Missoula, $1.50. Refusing to pay, Doherty was ejected and then sued the company. |
