A report re-port by the-board of health of Queens county that Clarence Panza, a member mem-ber ot the hospital corps of the Thirteenth Thir-teenth coast artillery district. , had died a victim of, typhoid aroused in terest today in military circles, because be-cause physicians said it was the first case In the National Guard of death from typhoid following innoculation Panza received three treatments of the vaccine now being used exten-, slvely to render members or tho army and the militia immune against this disease. The last Innoculation was three weeks ago. When he died, two days ago, physicians were inclined to doubt the reliability of their own diagnosis; di-agnosis; but the health board today decided officially that his disease was typhoid. |
