Show OIL MEN OPPOSE LEASING SYSTEM Washington, April 1. Counsel for California oil producers on the public pub-lic domain continued argument today before the house lands committee, contending that the proposed federal I leasing system of oil and other public pub-lic lands without preferential rights to those now occupying them was unjust un-just and that the present laws when -finally applied would be sufficient. A. JD. Bolton of San Francisco said that his claimants could not sell oil to the Standard Oil company until they had clear-listed., their lands. |
