Show HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING Provo, March 5. The Hoihc and School association he'rd an Interesting meeting last evening in the Central school. The subject ot home manufactures manu-factures and their importance to the state, and the benefits to be derived from supporting them, was presented by -Mrs. Nellie Taylor, Mrs. John Stewart, Stew-art, Harvey Cluff end L. E. Eggert-sen. Eggert-sen. The exhibition of home-manufactured products in the schaols to edu-cate edu-cate the children along the line of appreciation ap-preciation and support of home-made articles was suggested by Mrs. Stewart. F. M. Young spoke of the Interest taken by the boys and girls in the Industrial In-dustrial clubs now being organized in the schools under the direction of the department of agriculture, and Mrs. A. P. Merrill, delegate to the housekeepers' house-keepers' convention nt Logan, reported report-ed some of the proceedings of that gathering. The president, Mrs. Ivy G. Corfman announced a meeting Wednesday evening, March 11, in the public library li-brary lecture room, of the department of civic clubs and other organizations, for the purpose of effecting closer cooperation co-operation along civic activities. |
