Show Drama Week Will Be Observed Here Utah community theaters, high schools, colleges and universities, will join with the rest of the nation in observance of the twenty-fifth annual national drama week February 4 to 11 according to Mrs. Ruth M. Bell, instructor of speech at Utah Agricultural college and chairman of Utah's observance. The national drama week, founded in 1920, is celebrated by members of the drama league of America and of many cooperating organizations throughout the nation na-tion in order to focus attention of the general public upon the highly important and inspirational contributions which drama in its many forms makes to national life, Mrs. Bell said. The remarkable contribution of actors to morale, in the war effort ef-fort throughout the world, will be theme of the week. In Utah, production of several dramas by various groups and school assemblies assem-blies will be featured. |
