Stephenson j Funeral services for Mrs. Loui-I Loui-I sia W- Stephenson, 70, who died Saturday morning in a Logan hospital of a long illness, were conducted Wednesday afternoon m the Lewiston First ward chapel chap-el by Victor Waddoups, bishop. She was born December 16, 1874 in Ogden, a daughter of George and Hannah Humphreys Wheeler. She was married to Francis M. Stephenson Jr. October, Oc-tober, 1892 in the Logan Temple. He died 16 years ago. Mrs Stephenson was active, n church affaL, the Belief Society and genealogical groups. Survivors include four sons and seven daughters: Heber E George O. and Milford Stephenson Mis-Verda Mis-Verda Jensen and Mrs Esther Nielsen of Lewiston; Ralph L. Stephenson of Ogden; Mrs. Ora Smith of Burlay, Idaho; Mrs. Lois Watterson, of Butte, Montana; Mrs Louise Jackson of Layton; and' Mrs. Nedra Wood of Ingle-1 Ingle-1 wood, Cal.; 29 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: William and Walter Wheeler and Mrs. Dora Boman, of Lewiston; Arthur Wheeler, of Burley, Idaho; Ida-ho; James Wheeler of Fairview, Idaho, and Mrs. Mary Ransom of Lehi. Burial in the Lewiston cemetery was under direction of the Ken- neth Lindquist mortuary of Lo. j gan. Inez R. Roskelley Mrs. Inez Rice Roskelley, 45, resident of Nibley since 1941, died Monday night in the family home of a brief illness caused by a paralytic stroke. A native of Logan, she was torn August 29, 1899, a daughter of the late Bishop Oscar F. and Charlotte Pickett Rice. She was married to Henry B. Roskelley November 7, 1923 in the Logan Temple. They made their home in Smithfield and then in Weston, Idaho until moving to Nibley. Mrs- Roskelley taught school for some time in Paradise and Smithfield and has been a 4-H club leader. She also has been active in church work. Survivors include her husband and the following brothers and sisters: O. Legrand Rice of Denver, Den-ver, Colo.; Mrs. Jane R. Frost, of Phoenix, Arizona; Mahlon F. Rice and Mrs. Virginia R. Sjos-trom Sjos-trom of Logan. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed today at 2 p. m. in the Nibley ward chapel under direction of Bishop Byron Snow. Burial, in m O. A. Richardson, the following sons and daughters: Mrs- Norma R. Callahan of Washington, D. C; Dale Rogers, Mrs. Mary R. Craig and Mrs. Lu Dean R. Williams of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Luella N. Adams of Logan; Lorenzo H. Norr of Brigham City; O. Alvin Norr, of Deweyville; Francis R. Norr, of Tremonton; Mrs. Hazel N. Jorgenson of Amalga, and Vernon M. Norr of Washington D. C. Burial will he in Logan cemetery. the family plot of the Smithfield cemetery, was under direction of the W. Loyal Hall mortuary. Elvira N. Richardson Funeral services for Mrs. Elvira El-vira N. Richardson, 55, native of Logan who died Monday at her home in Richmond, Cal., will be conducted Saturday at 2 .p. m. in the Kenneth Lindquist mortuary mortu-ary chapel by Edgar B. Mitchell, bishop of Logan Fifth ward. A daughter of Oluf J. and Mary Harris Norr, she was born September Sep-tember 28, 1889. A member of the L.D.S. church, she had been active in Relief Society and other auxiliary organizations. Survivors include her husband. |
