Show Blanchard Child Services Held SMITHFIELD Funeral services were held at the Third ward chapel chap-el Sunday afternoon for Emma Marie Blanchard, 17 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lidell Blanchard. Services were under the direction of Bishop Douglas Hooper with the ward choir under the direction of Willard Thornley and Mrs. Albert McCann at the organ, furnishing the singing. The opening songs were, "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You" with ,Mrs. Regenia Smith, singing the 'solo part. Invocation was by John Ranzenburger. Those who offered words of consolation were: Bishop William Anderson of Richmond, 'Don Chambers, J. W. Kirkbride jand Bishop Hooper. Special musi-I musi-I cal numbers were "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose" by Mrs. LaFay I Sorenson and vocal duet, "Whispering "Whis-pering Hope" by Mrs. Lulu Mor-tensen Mor-tensen and Bishop Richard Ros-kelicy. Ros-kelicy. Closing song was. "I Need Thee Every Hour." Benediction was by Coun. Adrian Toolson. There were many beautiful floral offerings. Burial took place in the Logan cemetery whers the g-ave was dedicated by Richard Smith. Emma Marie Blanchard was born in Loan, April 30, 1939. Surviving besides the parents are 'two brothers and two sisters, 30' Thomas Lidell Jr., Carol, Wayne,) ( j and R.ulh Blanchard. Five grani I parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. BlanJO chard of Smithfield, Mr. and Mrs Anton Ciuistcnsen of Richmond and Axel Erickson of Salt Lakc j City and one great grandfather ; 'Thomas H. Elanchard of LjOgan. |
