Valentine's Day at Park City's top realtors honored Bill McComb, Vivian Crop per, Bonnie reretti and Henry Sigg were the top award winners Saturday as the Park City Board of Realtors held Us second annual awards banquet. An estimated 200 people attended the banquet, held at Deer Valley's Snow Park Lodge. McComb, of the firm of Capson-Morris-McCc nb, was honored as the Realtor of the Year for 1982. This award recognizes the organization's organiza-tion's outstanding broker, and is based on his or her cumulative record both in real estate and in the community. McComb, a Park City resident since 1974, joined forces with fellow realtors Rob Morris and Bob Capson to form Capson-Morris-Mc-Comb in 1976. Company volume of listing sales participations par-ticipations has ranged from $8 million to $19 million annually. In addition to his activities in the real-estate market, McComb has been active in community affairs. He was a founding member of the Park City Convention and Visitors Bureau. He also served for a year as the president of the Park City Chamber of Commerce, and was instrumental in the merger of the two organizations organiza-tions in 1982. In addition, McComb has found the time to act as a founder director of Summit Savings and Loan, a founder found-er charter member of the Park City Rotary Club, a founder of St. Luke's Episcopal Epis-copal Church, vice chairman of the Park City Housing Authority and commissioner of the Summit County Airport Air-port Authority. In 1977 and 1978 he was a member of the Summit County Planning Commission and was involved involv-ed in the drafting of Summit County's first zoning ordinance. ordi-nance. Named Salesperson of the Year for 1982 was Vivian Cropper, who recently moved from Gump and Ayers to Coleman Land Company. Cropper came to Park City in 1979 after spending 10 years in the San ' f mm Francisco area. While in California, Cropper Crop-per held a number of accounting positions with Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, then was hired as manager of accounting for Kaiser Aetna. For the past two years, she has been a member of the Park City Board of Realtors' Million Dollar Club. The selection of Salesperson Salesper-son of the Year is based largely on sales volume, but also on the agent's integrity and ability to work with other agents. The recipient of the Director's Direc-tor's Award Saturday was Bonnie Peretti, an agent with Skyline Land Company for nine years prior to its merger with Coleman Land Company. She also served for six year's as Skyline's office manager. She is currently cur-rently the secretary treasurer trea-surer of the Park City Board of Realtors. The Director's Award, which is only presented when the occasion arises, is given for outstanding board service ser-vice and involvement in the community. Named Rookie of the Year for 1982 was Henry Sigg, also an employee of Coleman Land Company. Sigg moved recently to Park City after spending three years in Switzerland. He has a degree in marketing from the University Uni-versity of Colorado. This award goes to the newcomer who has made notable progress in a relatively rela-tively short period.
