Gardiner was selected from a field of 16 ad firms. From those 16. seven were selected to give a presentation to the review committee last Thursday. The review committee consisted of seven voting members. The three from the Chamber-Bureau staff were: Deb Symonds. executive execu-tive director: Kim Anderson, director of group sales; and Marty Peterson, director of communications. Representing Represent-ing the membership at large were Bud Raymer, Pro Select Performance Ski Rentals; Peter Sanborn, Village Resorts. Re-sorts. League meeting to focus on issue of hazardous waste The public is invited to the Thursday, Feb. 17 meeting of the Park CitySummit County League of Women Voters, which will debate, "Does Hazardous Waste Really Have to be Hazardous?" The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 121 Park Ave. It will feature a slide presentation on the issue of hazardous waste, developed by the Salt Lake City League of Women Voters. Among the issues to be covered will be federal requirements and how they are monitored and regulated in Utah. Also at the Feb. 17 meeting will be a presentation of the recently-completed studies on Park City and Summit Sum-mit County that were conducted by the League. Copies of the studies will be available for anyone at the meeting, and are expected to be the most complete resources ever compiled about the city and county history, geography, demography, industry and government. The building contains approximately ap-proximately 26,000 square feet of office and meeting space and a child day care facility. A small portion of the building Is currently vacant. The city plans to expand into the vacant space and preschool area in the near future. The proposed contract will require the contractor to provide all of the necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning of the interior of the building, but will require no exterior maintenance.
