Show Davis, Cache, Carbon and Salt Lake Counties Instructions to Voters FOR PREPARING BALLOTS HOW TO OBTAIN BALLOT FOR VOTING 1. Give your name and address to an Election Judge. 2. If your name is on the Official Register, and your right to vote has not been challenged, the Election Judge will present a ballot or ballots to you. NOTE: If an Election Judge has reason to doubt any person's identity, the Judge shall either, (a) request identification from the voter, or (b) have the voter identified by a known registered voter of the district. HOW TO VOTE BALLOT On receiving your ballot from the Election Judge, immediately retire alone to one of the voting booths and vote your ballot as follows: STEP 2 Be sure the two holes at the top of the card fit over the two red pins on the Vote Recorder. ! i a i to com'm ou I I TO NEXT ' i BhV NOVtMM I. ItW STEP1 Using both hands, slide the ballot card all the way into the Vote Recorder. 7mtm STEP 3 To vote, hold the Punch straight up and push down through the card for each of your choices.
