SATURDAY JULY 3th. 1807. G- GRAND CONCERT. The Mendelssohn Quartette Club at the Tabernacle. Ths Mendelssohn Quartette Club gave a fine conceit at the Taber nacle Tuesday evening. It was divided into two parls. Bart I. Classic airs. Tart II. Populairs. Professor Lund was In charge. The quartette was composed of Hiss Peterson, eoprano, Mies Ramsey, contrallo, Prof. Ramsey, tenor, Prof. LunJ, bsss. The music in the first part was composed of those divine melodies of the old composers; and the voices of the four blended together in perfect harmony. The popular airs including some of thn well known songs were highly appreciated by the audience. At the interval Prof L. E. Ramsey treated his audience to some lighting work in colors, painting a fine landscape in ten minuted.
