Her grandson, Russell Peterson, received a scholarship for Littia McDonald, Jenny McArthur, Genny Martineau, Kenny Lund, Tory Norman, and Jeff Rollo were participants of "The Asylum" a one-aplay by the advanced drama class at North Sanpete High School. ct MT. PLEASAN- T- With five more rodeos, before state finals, still pending, 11 Sanpete Rodeo Team members have qualified for state. The students who qualified are Dusty Allred, Joe Allred, Sterling Davis, Winston Cook, Cameron Hales, Jared King, Stevie Stewart, Justin Thomson, all from North Sanpete High r i i 'f it the college. Russell attended Middleton High School, he received an award in Mathematics, then upon graduating from the high school, was voted most outstanding student and received the scholarship. A car dealer in Pocatello offered the Elks lodge in Idaho a car to raffle off to help the boy enter college. Grandmother Twila sent some money for 20 tickets with her daughter Adrienne Peterson to purchase some raffle tickets, so that Twila could participate in helping her grandson get to college. At the Elks Club dinner, the tickets were drawn and the grandmother won the station wagon, which she in turn donated back to the family and helped her grandson attend college. t r - School. FG news , ' 1 FOUNTAIN GREE- N- Many families enjoyed Mothers Day together and both Fountain Green LDS Wards held special programs. The Fountain Green First LDS Ward program included special musical numbers from the Primary, Young Men and Young Women. Talks were given by Rebecca Hansen, Aaron Lund, and Chelsey Cook.. Tributes were given to mothers by many of the young men and young women. Each mother was presented with a potted plant from the ward. The Fountain Green Second LDS Ward program included tributes from the Primary children along with special songs. A slide presentation from the Primary included pictures of all the Wtlkdyttstttktrs t-j- wttr yotr do. Pestalozzi -- mothers, their children, and even some grandparents. Jeff Walker, counselor in the Bishopric, gave a talk, and read the poem "When God Created Mothers". Each mother was presented with a carnation bouquet from the ward.
