Show PIONEER CALLED. Mrs. Elizabeth Coats Clark, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 7th, at the family home. The cause of death was blood poisoning and diabetes. She was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Derby-shire, England, May 4, 1838, In 1858 she emigrated to Mount Pleasant, having made this city her home since. Her first husband was Paul Coates. Ten children were born to this union five, together with the father, having preceeded her to the grave. On Jan, 21, 1892 she was married to C,, A. Clark, Funeral services were held Thursday from the South Ward meeting house. , |
