Show Rjr IIP Miss Florence Monsen was hostess for the 0. N. 0. girls Wednesday j evening and a pleasant time enjoyed. An elaborate two-course luncheon A'as served after the sewing was finished. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Lundberg entertained en-tertained at a splendid dinner at their home Tuesday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Canute Beal of Eph-raim. Eph-raim. Those invited were: Mr. and Mrs. Beal, Ed jLundberg, Lucile Ren-berg, Ren-berg, Harry Ericksen and Tressa Larsen. Mrs. Christpna Larsen was tendered tender-ed a very pleasant surprise party at her home Wednesday afternoon in h jnor of her seventy-fourth birthday. Ladies of the Relief Society were responsible re-sponsible for the affair. A number of splendid gifts were presented to the old lady. An excellent dinner was served and enjoyed by about thirty of her fri:nds. Mrs. Hannah Hughes was hostess at a birthday dinner at her home Thursday afternoon. Covers were laid for eighteen. The Eiders' Quorum of the two wards enjoyed a very pleasant social at the South ward hall Monday evening. even-ing. A splendid program consisiing of songs, stories and musical numbers num-bers was carried out after which delicious de-licious refreshments were served. About fifty persoiiS were present. Mrs. Annie Mcintosh was the subject sub-ject of a plasant and well arranged surprise party at her home Friday afternoon when a party of lady friends about thirty in number wa!k-;d wa!k-;d into her home about 2 o'clock without the slightest warning. They Drought their own refreshments which all combined m; de a s plendid afternoon luncheon. The celebration celebra-tion waa in honor of Mrs. Mcintosh s rifiy-first birthday. |
