An open house will be held on Saturday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gunlock LDS Chapel. The bride graduated from North Sanpete High School with honors. She is currently attending Dixie College. The bridegroom graduated from Dixie High School and served an LDS mission to Guatemala. He is attending Dixie College. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Erma Shelley and Mr and Mrs. Lawrence Larsen, Fairview. PLEASANT The children of Grant and Sybil Peel announce the golden wedding anniversary of their parents. An open house will be held in their honor Friday, March 28, 1997, at 6 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center, 295 South State. They were married March 21, 1947, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Grant was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He graduated from BYU, receiving a degree in music, which he has used throughout his life. Sybil was born and raised in the Uintah Basin, and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was working at a Provo music store when they first met. Grant taught music for 40 years in the Uintah Basin, Park City, Manila and Rangely, CO After retiring, they moved to Sanpete County. They have always been active in the LDS Church and have served in many callings. Kimberly Shelley and Troy Jessup Jana Kaye Nelson, Jeremy D. Smith to make temple vows They are the parents of seven children, Mrs. Ron (DiAnn) Fox, Grand Junction, CO; Mrs. Jerry (Maria) Rea, Mt. Pleasant; William Grant Peel, Jr. (deceased); Harlan Matson Peel (deceased), Steven L. Peel, Bakersfield, CA; Mrs. Boyd (Janice) Hutchinson, Brigham City; and Mrs. Allen (Valorie) Arvig, St. George. She also graduated cum laude from Snow College and will graduate from Utah State University this sprmg with a degree in Community Health and Gerontology- The bridegroom is a graduate of Papillion LaVista High School, Omaha, NE and attended Washburn University , Topeka, KS. He served an LDS Mission m Italy Catania and is currently working at Icon in Logan. He plans to attend Utah State University this Spring to pursue a degree in psychology.
