Show The Misses Stella Olson and Valentine Val-entine Larson were hostesses at a very pleasant "Old Fashion" party at the home of the fo;mer Thursday afternoon. The house was elaborately elaborate-ly decorated with Sweet Peas. The guests were all handsomely and quaintly adorned in old time gowns, relics of grandmothers, mothers or friends. Old fashioned games were enjoyed also splendid music but best of all was the geniune old time luncheon lun-cheon which consisted of the following follow-ing palatable articles, graham bread buttermilk, baked apples, raisins, coffee and cake and others equally as good. Those who enjoyed the afternoons festivities were the Miss es: Geneve Johnson, Olive Neilson, Mable Borg, Arbrelia Seely Naomi Beer, Merline Roylance, guest of honor, Indra and Viola Whittaker, Margaret Candland, Thelma Sutton, Loraine Stevens, Dora Larson, Francis Fran-cis Jensen, Mrs. Georgia Johnson and the hostess. The guests were entertained in the evening at the Melba Theatre. Tne 0. N. 0. Club was delightfully delightful-ly entertained Thursday evening by Miss Virginia Whitlock, at her home. Sweet Peas were used in all the rooms in profusion. Sewing and a dainty luncheon were indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed. Mrs. Adolph Merz entertained at a quilting party at her home Wednesday. Wednes-day. The ladies present buised them selves during the afternoon but in the meantime enjoyed the general social conversation which accompanies accompan-ies that sort of afternoon social and enjoyed more than that, a sumpt-uousdinner sumpt-uousdinner prepared by the hostess, Those present were: Mrs. Susannah Merz, Mrs. Lena Winkler, Mrs. Katherine Fechser Mrs. Jacob Hafen Mrs. Simon Hugentobler and the hostess. The Sororiety Girls were entertained enter-tained Wednesday afternoon by Miss Stella Jensen at her home. Sewing Sew-ing and delicious refreshments were enjoyed. Miss Lucile Frandsen of Price was a special guest. Mrs. Elsie Marie Jacobson was the honored guest at an informal dinner party at her home Friday afternoon Her children were responsible for the affair which was given her in honor of her eighty eighth birthday. A splendid dinner and general conversation con-versation were enjoyed. Those present pres-ent were: Mrs. Sena Jacobsen, Mrs. Lena Winkler, Mr. and Mrs. (Jhris-Johansen, (Jhris-Johansen, Mrs. Swen Olsen, Mrs. Dorathy Swensen, Miss Thea Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, Mrs. Nora McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. Chris. Rasmussen, Andrew Jacobsen and Mrs. 'Martena Miller of Castle Dale. Florence Monsen, Estella Mcintosh Anna Brrby, Vance Mcintosh, Joseph Jos-eph Scofield and Jim Syndergaard, enjoyed an outing horseback, in the mountains Sunday, Berries sight seeing an invigating ride and a delicious de-licious luncheon made the days pro gram en unusualy pleasant jOiie. The U. F. S. girls were entertained entertain-ed by Ruby Neilson at her home Thursday evening. Sewing and refreshments re-freshments were the order of the entertainment. |
