A club of eccentric young men had for one of their rules that oh Tuesday evenings any man who asked a question ques-tion in the club rooms which he was unable to answer himself should pay a -fine of $10. One evening McLoughlln asked the following: "Why doesn't a ground squirrel leave any dirt around the top of b.I ' hole when he digs It?"
