Show THE Notice to Seed Pea Growers - . Regardless of the written notices that were sent out to all pea growers waning them about getting their peas wet in the stack, there have been very few stacks of seed peas that were covered during the rain, and yet everybody knows that seed peas vines are like a Bieve and will let the water run through no matter how the stack is put up, we venture to say that there has been enough seed spoiled during this rain the price of which would have bought canvasses enough to have covered not only the pea stacks but even all the hay and grain stacks in Morgan County. Why is it you do not wake up to the fact that through your carelessness you are losing hundreds of dollars? Again we warn the seed pea growers that if any peas are brought In that are damp, wet, rotted or remixed, they positively will be are wet peas jected, and if a few scattered through a sack the whole sack will be rejected. We cannot afiord to lose money this year like we did last year simply because people will not take care ef ther crops. Also we wish to state that peas that are in the field yet In piles unless the piles are moved immedibe ately after the storm, there will rotted peas laying next to the ground and they will not be fit for seed purposes and will be rejected.
