Show Former Dies Bios in ill Salt Lake I Laurence Nelson for many years a resident of oC Delta died May 8 at athis athis his home in West Jordan of a aheart aheart aheart heart ailment He was employed as warehouse foreman for the Kelly Kelly Kely Kel Kel- ly y Western Seed Company in Salt Lake City for the past ten years Mr Nelson was born Sept 12 1894 in South Dakota a son of Mr and Mrs Nels Nelson He and his twin brother Lowell Nelson were among the early farmers on the South Tract and later Mr Nelson worked in Delta with the seed company He was married May 7 1917 1917 to Mamie Cropper in Tacoma I Washington He was a veteran of World War 1 I and lived in Delta both before and after his time in inthe inthe inthe the service After moving from Delta Delta Delta Del Del- ta the family lived in Midvale in 1937 and in 1947 moved to West Jordan He was a member of the Lutheran church He is survived by his widow and and seven sons and daughters Dee I Nelson Taylorsville Ralph Nelson Midvale Howard Harold Carl and Cora Jean Nelson all of West Jordan Jordan Jordan Jor Jor- I dan and Mrs Maxine Columbus Columbus Columbus Col Col- umbus Ohio three grandchildren and five brothers and three sisters Ervin Arthur and Bernett Nelson and Mrs Sarah Harding all aU of Los Angeles Lowell and Sylvin Sylvia Nelson Mrs Cora Maxum and Mrs Lucille Browley all of Portland Oregon I Funeral services were held May 13 in the West Jordon L. L D. D S.
