Show Delta Art Club Is Entertained Delta Art Club members enter tained their husbnnds Thursday night at a dinner party and bridge, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Baker. Deseret harden Club Reports The Deseret Garden Club held their- February meeting at the home of Fern Warner on Friday evening, February 22. There were fifteen members and one guest present. As it is a little early in the season to plant flowers or to pull weeds, these things weren't even mentioned. The evening was spent playing (dare I say it?) Bingo. Many and varied were the prizes the ladie? won. Of course, they were all trying try-ing to get the best prize, the one with the red bow on top. This war really the most expensive of the prizes, having cost a whole 25c. After much playing with lots of bantering and laughter, Lucille Hales had the treasure in hei possession at the end of the evening. eve-ning. At the close of the meeting, refreshments re-freshments In keeping with Washington's Wash-ington's birthday were served by the hostesses, Fern Warner and Edna Christensen. No, it wasn't cherry pie. Everyone expressed themselves as having had a nice time. We hope we have more turn out at our March meeting, when the hostesses will be Mable Black and Telia Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faust and family from Ogden, visited over the weekend with their mother and brother, Tressa Jenson and Rex. Larry Shields is home for a few-days few-days with his family, wait'ng for a call to his new job. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Abbott and family, from Spanish Fork, visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Abbott and Bill, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Boothe visited in Salt Lake City during the week with their children and families. They also visited Reva Losee and Cora Larson in the LDS hospital. The Sunday night program was an accordion solo by Virgil Losee. and a talk by Elder Roundy, a returned re-turned missionary. He related his missionary experiences. His talk was enjoyed by a large crowd. W hope he will come again. Mr. and Mrs. Frelen Shurtz made a trip to Provo and spent the day with her mother, Mrs. Melinda Spencer. In Dance Royalty (Vf f 4& MISS DONE Miss Elaine Done was recently honored as one of the Sweetheart Royalty at LDS Business College "Cupid Capers," the 1957 version of the college annual dance, wa held Feb. 15, at the Memorial House in Memory Grove, Salt Lak City. Elaine was one of the school's six finalists In the race for Sweetheart, Sweet-heart, and was presented In a preview of the dance royalty Fti day morning during an assembly in Bnrratt Hall.
