Following the ceremony, cere-mony, the bride's parents were hosts at dinner for the wedding pa.ty at the Bank Club Cafe. Paula is a graduate of Delta H gh School, and has been employed employ-ed at the Salt Lake County General Hospital for the past year and a half. Mr. Christensen served in the Armed Forces for two years, and attended Weber College and the Utah State Agricultural College at Logan. The youg couple plan to reside in Salt Lake City. A large crowd of relatives and friends were present to wish the couple happiness, and many lovely gifts were presented to emphasize the wish. The bride wore a white nylon net and lace ballerina length formal with tiara to match, The bridesmaids, brides-maids, Miss Marlene Anderson and Miss Claudia Sanchey, and the matrons of honor, Mrs. Barbara Fielding Olscn and Mrs. Shirley Larsen, wore pastel formals. The best man was Wayne Welker, brother bro-ther of the groom. Corsages for the bride, the mothers of the bride and groom, the bridesmaids and the . matrons of honor, were of lovely yellow tea roses. The reception line was backed with arrangements of yellow chrysanthemums, chry-santhemums, yellow and green ribbons and wedding bells. The wedding cake was decorated deco-rated in yellow and topped with wedding bells. It was flanked by candleabra holding yellow tapers, yellow chrysanthemums and yellow and green after dinner mints. Following Fol-lowing the color scheme, two cornucopias corn-ucopias filled to overflowing with fruits of monochromic yellow, decorated deco-rated the stage. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Bunker and family visited with his mother and family over Sunday. The Sunday evening service was conducted by Heber Hose with Bishop Tippetts officiating. The program was given by the Stewart Taylor family, to mark the eve of their departure to California. M.LA. talk was given by Dana Kae Ogden. Poems were given by Larry and Patty Taylor. Shipley A good program was enjoyed on Sunday evening at sacrament meeting. mee-ting. Elder Lindsey Roundy was the speaker, he has recently returned from his mission labors. His talk was exceptionally interesting. Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Alldredge were visitors with Elder Roundy. The choir furnished the music and the prayers were given by Adrian All-dredge All-dredge and Ellis Anderson. Mrs. Hulda Anderson has spent a week in California with her son Merlin, and family. She also spent a few days with her daughter Lena Peterson, and family, at Delta. Mrs. Aretta Peterson visited the past week in Eureka with her sister Margeret and other relatives. Another visitor in Oak City last week was Mrs. Angie Lyman, from Rexburg, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson. son Garth and Kent and Kaye Finlinson Finlin-son were visitors several days at Whittier, Calif., especially for the Thanksgiving holiday with their children there. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Roper visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Roper. Devon is registered for school at Logan A.C. this year. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Prisby and son, visited Thanksgiving with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Anderson. Roy and Geniel Martin of Murray, and little sons, visited over the holidays in Oak City. Miss Gene Harris was home from Las Vegas, Nev., where she in teaching school. Miss Velma Harvey and Miss Wilna Wixom of Salt Lake, were Oak City visitors for Thanksgiving. M. J. Mrs. Cliff Leavitt and her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Betty Jeffery, visited i- Sutherland on Sunday. They came to hear the program given by the Taylors. Little Joyce Watson is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan May. Joyce is a daugh ter of Flora May Watson. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jensen have moved into the Herald Petersen home. We are glad to have them with us. On of the most dreaded disease is doubt. Doubt takes on different shapes, to some it comes in the form of doubt'ng their ability tn accomplish things they would like to do. To others it takes the shape of doubting the loyalty of true friends, but the most pitiful of all is the doubt of the existence of God. Bunker luniily were present at their Thanksgiving reunion dinner Thursday, Thurs-day, Nov-. 22, at the home of Wayne and Thora Petersen in Hinckley. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wd'iam L. Bunker, Eulaliau Betty and Leu Wanna Bunker, Lee and Velma Talbot and most of their family, Wayne and Thora Petersen and family, Max and Wanda Bunker, Bun-ker, and most of their family, Delia Rock and son, Vaughn and Vera. Paxnan and family, DaWayne and Beth Kimber and family. Ail of the living children of the Bunker family were present with exception of one daughter, Nola, and her husband, Bill Bolster, stationed stat-ioned in Japan, and their son. Fine Arts Club Is Entertained The Fine Arts Club met Monday night, at dinner at Hatch's City Cafe, and then to the Max Robison home for cards. Present were Arvetta Nickle, Harriet Eliason, Cleo Eliason, Julia Bliss, Clare Stephenson, Evelyn Robinson, Rae Huff, Estelle Gardner, Gard-ner, Melba Jacobson, Mary Moody, Lenore Gardner, Mary Wright and Barbara Ashby. The committe for the party was Evelyn Robison, Arvetta Nickle, Barbara Ashby and Julia Bliss. At cards, high score awards were made by Mary Wright, Lenore Gardner, and Estelle Gardner. from Idaho. We are happy to have them home again. A nice time was had Friday night at the Relief Society Bazaar and supper was served to a large crowd. Many articles were sold at the bazaar. Mrs. Belva Morris and Mrs. Allred were Stake visitors. Mrs. Morris' sister, Bertha and husband, and Harold Morris, were also visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Walker spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nielson had their son Robert and family, for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nielson and sons, spent Thanksgiving and the weekend in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Christensen and children spent several days In Blanding last week. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lovell enjoyed 1 few davs in St. George with 'heir daughter Merlene, and family. Mrs. Vonetta Eradbury and baby, nent the past week in Oak City, with the Thurlow Jacobson family, and to see her new little sister. The Oak City school hald a Thanksgiving program Friday. The parents were guests. Mrs. Paul Wixom from Burley, Idaho, visited several days as guest of Mayvonne Dutson.
