Mr. and Mrs. J. Morris Larsen, of Brigham City, and children, Marilyn, Mari-lyn, Quinn, Elaine and Russell, visited visi-ted in Delta from Thursday morning morn-ing until Sunday with their parents, Mr and Mrs. A E. Stephenson. On Thanksgiving they were all at the family dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stephenson. Saturday the Larsens visited Flowell, a new area for Mr. Larsen, with A. E. Stephenson as their guide. Mr. and Mrs. A W. Stephenson and children, Patty and John, visited visit-ed in Delta Friday with their parents, par-ents, Mr and Mrs. A. E. Stephenson Stephen-son and Mr. and Mrs. J. Avery Bishop, Bish-op, on their way to their home in Cedar City, after a visit in Salt Lake City for Thanksgiving. Verland Willden, who has lived in Kearns for the past three years with his wife, the former LaRue Bennett, and their three sons, telephoned tele-phoned his mother, Mrs. Mildred Willden, at Delta this week to say he had been named first counselor in the bishopric of the newly formed form-ed LDS ward in Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Broderick were vis:tors last week, first in Salt Lake City, where they had dinner Thanksgiving eve with their daugh ter and husband, Maggie and Max Kay. Thursday they were in Eureka for dinner with Leona and Hamil ton Laird, and Friday they were in Dugway, to visit Tola Newman and family. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Topham made i a short visit in Delta this week, j and then returned to Ely, Nevada, i where Mr. Topham recently opened a new cafe. Mrs. Topham joined him for the past two weeks while the dining room was opened. Mr. . Topham still manages the Delta1 Cafe in Delta, by long distance, with the aid of his brother, Ivan' Topham, who moved to Delta from Parowan with his wife and family. Miss Edythe Cahoon, school tea ching in Las Vegas, Nev., was home for Thanksgiving holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayson Cahoon, In Delta. i Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Tolbert had all of their family home for Thanks giving except their daughter LaRue and husband, Val Sorensen. There were twenty-nine for the family dinner Present were Mr. and Mrs Jay Tolbert and five children, Mr. and Mrs. DeLoy Tolbert, Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Tolbert and three children, chil-dren, all of Salt Lake City, Alc and Mrs. Stanley Tolbert and son, M'. and Mrs. Garth Tolbert and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lea-vitt Lea-vitt and two children, and Clinton's mother; Mrs Frances Tolbert. A special guest was Lawrence Lowler, district president in the Canada branch with whom Stanley and his wife were friends when they livel in Sault Ste Marie, Mich. NOTICE Dr. M. F. Mrs. Cassie Riding, of Salt Lake City, was a Delta visitor for Thanks giving, with her daughters, Mrs. Le-land Le-land Callister, Mrs. Ted Knight, and families. Mr and Mrs. Glen Cahoon, from Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Lorraine Pritchard, from Hill Field, and Barbara Bar-bara Welton, from CSU, were home for Thanksgiving in Delta with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Les Welton. Mr. and Mrs William S Bassett, son and dauehter. Kav and Eloise J and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lyman spent Thanksgiving in Logan. On Friday they attended the funeral services for Paul Strobelt, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Bassett and Mrs. Lyman. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Riding and son Dale had Thanksgiving dinner in Tooele at the home of their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs Tom Rid ing, and family. Also from Delta were Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Corbett and family, from Abraham Mr. and Mrs Jay Fullmer and family, From Salt Lake City came Mr. and Mrs. Max Riding and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Riding and infant daughter. There were 28 present, with 15 grandchildren grand-children Three daughters and families fam-ilies were unable to join them. With them the group would have been 45, with 26 of them grand children. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Johnson, lon.a; time residents of Las Vegas, Nev., and former Deltans, spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving and the weekend in Delta with Mrs. Johnson's sister and husband, Mr and Mrs. Sherman Little. Delbert Mitchell, 17, son of Mr.! and Mrs. Melvin Mitchell, returned to Delta the night before Thanksgiving Thanks-giving from Salt Lake City, where he had been at the LDS hospital since Nov. 15 for treatment of an injury on the DHS football field. He had his left shoulder dislocated, and it required some surgery and a silver plate to keep it in place. His mother was in Salt Lake with him.
