Show ! Minersville Plans ! Improvement Of ! Water System Not content with a very fine combined town hall, library and postoff ice, built with F E R A aid and now being made full use of, the Minersville town board proposes pro-poses in the near future to proceed pro-ceed with the installation of a new and uptodate water system, providing pro-viding the voters endorse the move at an approaching election. Included among a long list of approved P W A projects for Utah and the only one listed for Beaver Bea-ver county is a loan and grant of $36,363 for Minersville town, the federal grant or gift of $16,-363 $16,-363 being contingent, however, on the town bonding for the $20,000 loan. ( Even now, with the new and creditable town hall built and occupied, oc-cupied, Minersville has the unique position of being the only town in the county to have such a worthwhile worth-while permanent monument to show for the huge expenditures of federal and state funds during the past two years and this voting of the bonds will make it possible pos-sible to further strengthen that position and give the town one of the best water systems in the state. The entire program, incidentally, inci-dentally, reflects great credit on President Merrill Jameson and his fellow town board members for their forward-looking policy of making a splendid use of funds, the munificence of which will probably never again be equalled in all future history. |
