Show Golden Wedding Of Mr. and Mrs. M.Myers The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Myers ot j Minersville was observed Sunday ! and Monday at their home with a large number of relatives and i friends joining in extending felicitations. felici-tations. Sunday's observance took j the form of an open house reception recep-tion with some -10 friends calling in response to invitations printed in gold. On Monday a family dinner din-ner was served to 'J3 members of the family and that evening a free dani-e was given in the Minersville gymnasium with a large crowd present in response to a general invitation. Mr. Myers was born at Beaver December 9, 1SG6 while Mrs. Myers My-ers was born February 4, 1S72 a. Minersville. Both have been residents resi-dents of this county all their lives,! the parents on both sides having been among the earliest settlers and all helping to build up the commonwealth in farming and other vocations of early days. Mrs. Myers' father, Edward Bradshaw, was a mason and many of ther houses he built GO years ago are still standing. i Mr. and Mrs. Myers are the parents par-ents of 13 children (10 daughters' and three sons) of whom 10, are living, together with 47 grandchildren grand-children and 16 grealt-gr&ndchil- j dren. All were in attendance ex-' cept three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ; Fallowing are the 10 sons andp daughters of the honored couple: j Mrs. Ivan McKnight and Mrs. Par-! ley B. Fisher of Milford; Mrs. Ellis El-lis LeFevre, Minersville; Claude Myers, Craig, Colorado; Victor Myers, Aubra Myers, Mrs. Golden Gold-en Marshall and Mrs. Claire Gil-lins, Gil-lins, Minersville; Mrs. Ray Mes-singer, Mes-singer, Beaver; and Wilma Myers, Minersville. |
