Show Former Resident Dies At Lynndyl Funeral services were held Sun. day at the L. D. S. chapel at Lynndyl Lynn-dyl for Mrs. Grace May Angell, 47, wife of Solomon J. Angell, Union Pacific signal maintainer for several sev-eral years, who died Thursday f last week of a heart attack. The services were in charge of Bishop Banks of Lynndyl and burial took place in Salt Lake City cemetery following additional graveside services ser-vices Monday morning in that city. Grace May Davis Angell was born April 19, 1895 at Samaria, Idaho, but she spent her early life in Salt Lake City, to which place the family moved. She was married mar-ried to Mr. Angell July 12, 1916 in Salt Lake City, and they moved to Garfield some three years later. Mr. Angell's work as signal maintainer main-tainer took him to several places along the Union Pacific but for several years Mrs. Angell and the children spent the school year in Milford and she was well known and respected by all who knew her. Some two years ago they went to Lynndyl to live. A contributing cause of her un. timely passing is believed 'to have been the calling into army service of her son James, graduate of the Milford high school, class of '37 who took CMTC training durine the summers before entering railroad rail-road service. He was employed as signal maintainer at Islen, Nevada Ne-vada .when the call came and he left Tuesday of this week for Fort Douglas. Surviving Mrs. Angell, in addition addi-tion to her husband and son James are the following children: Mrs. Marie Johnson of Milford and Mrs. Dora Miller and Robert and Jo Anns Ailgell of Lynndyl. |
