Talk to Mrs. Thompson for details. oYJia yo Honors Chior hits Kearns by:Catherine Soderborg On Saturday, January 23, 1 1 Manti High students participated in a Womens Honor Choir at Kearns High School. They performed under the direction of Claudia Bigler, with about 3 80 others, from around the state. The choir left for Kearns at 6 a.m. Friday. After arriving, they practiced for six hours in three shifts of two hours each. Then on Saturday, they practiced for another hour before the concert that afternoon. They performed five pieces. Two other choirs, the Mens Choir and the Junior High Choir, also performed. Then they all joined together to perform one final song. The three choirs together totaled about 700 people. Those that participated from Manti were Rachel McGarry, Heidi Bailey, Valerie Haselbek, April Butterfield, Tawny Eastman, Bonnie Armstrong, Duray Black, Jerilyn Spencer, Liz Blauer, Ashley Jenkins, 'and Denise Pearson.
