But my friends question. What happened to you? haunted me. I never held myself out to he any eye killer, but ALL ot us should strive to have as pleasant of a physical appeaiance as possible. Besides that, being overweight is not healthy by anyones viewpoint! ! A good friend of mine told me a year ago, You could have been a model you were so good looking. What happened to you? A friend will tell you point blank. Mine did. What happened was that I had gained 50 pounds in ten years. It happened in stages. Changes seem easier to accept in stages. First 190 pounds, then 200, then 210. And while I had not yet developed a double chin or bubble butt, there lilJWi hi mi fm- - LAWN & GARDEN, TOOLS, SPORTING GOODS, ELECTRONICS, AND MORE!!!!! Ben Franklin wrote to France in the 1700s, In the New World, I have not met one person dying of starvation, but there are 100,000 people killing themselves with a I fork! So many people these days have a diet story to tell, but to make this short, I began with nutritional supplement that is in a powder from a soy base. Its fun. ..the atmosphere early in the morning is pleasant with constant temperature, five TVs on, radio in the background, a dry sauna, swimming pool, etc. So far I have lost 23 pounds. Its been fun. I also stay away from buffets where some people have a game going where they pay $6 or $7 and try to eat $10 worth of food. The thing about weight loss , as with any other accomplishment, is your success begins to feed on itself. When you see progress, you know it can be done because you are SEEING it done. I do not hold myself out as any expert on weight los or nutrition, and I know that to keep the weight off, I will have to exercise several times a week and watch the junk food. attended a meeting at Brockbank Junior High on Wednesday, March 15, 2000 regarding a study the school is doing to see if going to a block schedule would be educational advantageous for the students. I This would be similar to what the schedule is like at the high school, however the students and teachers would be teamed into groups and stay with their clusters. The school has a packet of information available for those interested in the proposal. This project is in the study phase and must have Granite School Board approval before anything is official. As your representative on the board, I would appreciate hearing from you as patrons on the feasibility of implementing this program for next year.
