Show Funeral at Hyde Park HYDE PARK, October 14, 1000. A nine months' old son of Walter and Lois Scamons died Tuesday, the l)th, after a severe attack of whooping cough and pneumonia. Funeral services ser-vices were held from the residence of Brother Scamons. The speakers were William Seamons, Grandpa Chantril of Benson ward, and Bishop's Counselor Coun-selor J. W. I). Ilurren. Comforting and consoling remarks were made and a good spirit was present. Brother and Sister Seamons have the sympathy of the whole community In their bereavement. be-reavement. There are a quite a number of cases of whooping cough still In our midst. It seems to be as hard to get rid of as a book agent. James Hanccy and sons are putting up a new house for William Gibson Jr., while Ezra and Wllford Seamons arc building one for Elijah Seamons. Thomas Duco and son William, of Cardston, Canada, were shaking hands Last week with their old friends of Hydo Park. Tho fanners who have potatoes to sell are realising 30 cents per bushel for them. In some liclds they are fairly fair-ly good and In others very poor. The beet diggers all received notice last week to stop until the 15th. Mra. Mary A. Balls, wife of William Balls, Is very sick, as is the little daughter of Riley and Florence Harris. |
