Show DEATH AT MILLV'LLE. A feeling of sadness and gloom was felt by the citizens of this place upon the announcement of the death of our beloved Sis'er Marie Pitkin, wife of George O. Pitkin, which occurred on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Nov. 27th inst., after a sickness of several weeks. Sis. ter Pitkin was highly esteemed by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. , She was a noble, kind and hospitable wo- man and a true Latter-day Saint, a bright and shining example to her family and associates. The funeral services were held in the meeting house at noon on the 27th inst. The house was well tilled with relatives and sympathizing sym-pathizing friends. Many comforting com-forting and consoling remarks we -e made by the speakers who addressed the congregation ; ali testifying of her many virtues and faithfulness. The following named Elders addressed the audience: aud-ience: J. Z. Stewart of Logan, Willard Cranney.Newei Kimball. President Joseph Morrell, of Cache Stake; Elias S. Kimball President Parkinson, of the H v. rum Stake, and I. C. Thoresen and Bishop Julin K rvouclit;. Professor Otte, of Lojran led the choir in some beautiful selections suitable to the occasion. |
