Show NOMINATIONS IN BRIGHAM CITY. <br><br> By the favor of a valued correspondent we are enabled to present our readers with the following: <br><br> On the 21st inst.[instant] a caucus meeting was held at the court house in Brigham City, by the citizens for the purpose of nominating candidates to be voted for to fill offices at the general municipal election to be held on the first Monday in March. At 4 p.m. the chairman of the central committee announced the purpose of the meeting and that it was in order then to enter into organization, &c. Judge John D. Burt was called to the chair and C.O. Dunn was chosen secretary. A. Nichols, J. Welch and H. Tingey, who were appointed by the chair as a committee on nominations, presented the following names for consideration, to be elected to offices, and which were unanimously nominated by the meeting, viz: <br><br> For Mayor, Samuel Smith; for Councilors, A. Nichols, H.P.Jensen, A. Christiansen, P.A. Box and P.C. Jensen; for Justices of the Peace, James Bywater and Martin Luther Ensign; for Recorder, A. Christiansen ; for Treasurer, W.L. Watkins; for Marshal, C.C. Loveland; for Assayer and Collector, James Jeppson. <br><br> The meeting was addressed by Mayor Smith and others during the absence of the nomination committee.
