Show PDIED. CALLAN.-At Five Mile Creek, Oneida County, Idaho, on the 7th day of August, 1880, through the effects of accidentally swallowing concentrated lye seven years ago, Sister Mary Boden, wife of Stephen Callan, aged 32 years. Deceased was the daughter of James and Ann Boden and was a native of South Wales, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She leaves a husband and five children and a large circle of sympathizing friends who mourn her loss. Since taking the lye she has suffered very much at times, but through her faith in the powers of the priesthood she has been kept alive, and in her last sickness it was not until she delivered herself unto the will of the Almighty, and said "Now O Lord thy will be done," that she passed away in full expectation of a glorious ressurrection [resurrection] and a reunion with her husband in a higher sphere.
