Show HE WANTED TO SEE THE TEMPLE. A pleasing incident occurred some Sundays ago, on the Temple block. An old gentleman has charge of the building on Sundays, and on the occasion referred to, a little boy asked his permission to go upon the walls. The old gentleman declined to allow the boy to do this for several reasons, but the little fellow persisted and was again refused. "Well," said the boy, "here I've been paying my five cent donations ever since the Temple started and I think it's too bad if I can't go up in it." This was a winning argument, and the old gentleman at once allowed the boy to go up into the building and view it and the surrounding landscape to his heart's content. |
