Tulips were used effectively as decorations and each guest was presented with a potted maiden hair fern as a favor. Music and chatting formed the entertainment and refreshments were served to 65 mothers and club members. Wednesday evening the chapter's chap-ter's regular meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Harold Ellison, Lehi. Lessons for the month were given by Mrs. Clark L. Tol-ton, Tol-ton, Mrs. Doyle Smith, and Mrs. Merrill R. Preston. Mrs. Howard Chrlstensen,- retiring president, was in charge and refreshments were served to 16 ladies." Mrs. George Worthen, Provo, president Timpanogos First district Federated Women's clubs, discussed "Citizenship" and 'Mrs. Saunders reported on the Educational section of the recent district convention. L. Mower announced today. The purpose of the meeting is to enroll en-roll club members. This enrollment enroll-ment will close the charter membership, Mrs. Mower said. Each enrolled member will receive re-ceive a package for planting, a bush, shrub, perennial or bedding plants. Miss Jensen illustrated her talk by playing records of music typical of early eras. She concluded her program pro-gram by playing and singing several sev-eral of her own compositions. She modestly admitted having tried her hand at composing as early as twelve years of age but has tened to add that she was so intrigued with the vastness of the field which holds her interest that her own more than forty compositions are but the begin ning of what she hopes to ac complish. Miss Jensen antici pates continuing her musical studies in New York or Boston next year.
