Welcker, Superintendent recommended to the school board recently that the bond election be held Tuesday, September 15. "This issue needs full attention so people aren't confused. We want to hold it separate from city elections," Welcker said. "The cost of the election is less when held separate from the city." The board also approved dates for public forums to be held to inform the communities of the bond issue. Alpine School Hoard is in charge of the public forums concerning bonding.
