Jerry Duane Barrett Bosworth, Al- son of Verl and ta Bolton Barrett Bosworth, Mountain View, was fatally shot while playing with three other boys at a neighbors home in the Mountain View subdivision, at 3:34 p.m. The four boys had been playing at the home of a neighbor, Stanford Wiggill. One of the boys, twelve-year-ol- d nine-years-ol- d, accidentally discharged the gun, a 0 rifle, ar.d the bullet struck the Bosworth boy, entering his lower right side and lodging in the chest cavity. Death was almost instantaneous. A Layton physician was summoned to the home. Jens K. Nelson, Clearfield justice of the peace, acted as coroner, and the body was removed to the Sunset mortuary in Clearfield. The boy was born April 1G, 1938 at St. Anthony, Ida. The family moved to Ogden where they resided for seven years. He was attending the seventh grade at North Davis junior high school and was an MR.
