HOSPITAL L TREFT Worship Service Draws Crowd Review Correspondent The Roy Community ROY Worship Service was held Sunday evening at 7:30 in the Roy High School football stadium. Over 400 people attended. TAction in Motion (The Roy Days Theme) was the message the interfaith service wanted to yelay, not only to the people of Roy but to the surrounding communities, said Pastor Charles B. Riggs, director of the event. We want to reach out beyond .the community as we celebrate Roy Days in this next week, and let people know we are a community in action not only in growth and business but also in Christian spirit, Riggs said. We dont want our message to be who has all the right doctrine but just to let Christ happen. In conjunction with this spirit, the people in attendance were asked to give a donation to USA For Africa. Anyone interested in donating to this cause can mail or bring their offering to the Roy City Municipal Building, 5051 S. and 1900 W. The Roy Central Stake Eagle Scouts presented the opening flag ceremony and retired the colors at the close of the service. The in vocation was delivered by Roy Stake President Paul T. Hancock. Spiritual messages were given by Pastor Riggs, Roy North Stake President, Jay A. Cheever and Pastor of the North Park Church, David Bloomquist. Musical presentations were given by Polly Berry and Jo Ann Berg, Mark and Gloria Nourse and Pat Wheeler, and Rosanne Chadwick and Jamie Stidham. WE SUPPORT THE PROPOSED LAYTON SWIMMING POOL As residents and business owners in the City of Layton we are in support of the proposed bond to be issued to finance the construction of a new swimyears since ming pool. Layton has grown tremendously in the twenty-nin- e our current pool was built. Each week hundreds of city youth and adults are unable to swim at the pool because its capacity is too small to meet the demand. We believe that the City has proposed to build a pool that we can afford and that will meet our current needs. At the same time the proposed pool facility could be expanded or a bubble could be constructed to meet future needs. Best of all, no new taxes or increases in pool fees would be required. We invite you to join us by voting YES in the bond election August 20. J ' DR. ROBERT We are pleased to announce that Robert L.
