A FARMINGTON Tooele boy who is accused of shooting a Utah Highway Patrol trooper has been freed .from juvenile detention until his April 23 trial date. FIRST DISTRICT Court Judge L. Kent Bachman said the youth, Pablo LeRoy Borrego Jr., can be released to his Tooele home in the custody of his mother. But the judge specified that the boy must remain under the constant supervision of his mother or an approved adult. The judge also restricted the father from living in the home while the boy is there. BORREGO is charged with attempted criminal homicide in the shooting incident last Oct. 7 of Trooper Ralph Evans of Sunset. The trooper was shot twice, once in the neck and once in the hip, as' he was conducting a routine investigation on Interstate Highway 15 near Farmington.
