LEFEVRE agreed to the traffic study at all major exits and entrances, which will give a picture of traffic patterns along, onto and off from the highway and will meet with the council again for a further discussion of the problems. Mr. LeFevre agreed to take a further look at the whole drainage problem. By DR. RICHARD M. SAG Diarrhea may be considered to be a frequent passage of stool with increased water content. In general, the basic problem with diarrhea lies with the failure of the intestines to absorb food, possibly combined with a defect in the normal secretion or absorption of water in the digestive process. tion. DIFFERENT foods tax different aspects of the food digestive process, so that by adjusting the diet after a bad case of diarrhea, one can generally allow the more sensitive areas of the intestines to heal. For example, one of the most sensitive processes is that which handles milk sugar, or lactose. For infants with active or resolving diarrhea, it is best to avoid the normal ingestion of milk. . THERE ARE several causes for this failure of the intestines, some of which are more serious than others. The most common cause in infants and children for a sudden episode of diarrhea lies with infection. This infection which may be bacterial, viral, or parasite (usually bacterial or viral), causes an inflammation of the intestinal lining that causes a soreness and irritability of most of the gastrointestinal tract or gastroenteritis. Sometimes certain germs that grow in the intestines g only cause disease by with the normal secretions of the intestines. inter-ferrin- infection, the symptoms had while the iptestinaf tract is sore and irfttaljle may Beaver, pain. Completion' of the sewer was anticipated by the council this summer and has been budgeted with enough funds, now accumulated, to begin the project, if contractors bids are within the engineering estimates. NEFF ENGINEERING is completing the plans with an anticipated bid opening date of May 15. Cost of the proposed project, to complete the remaining 1150 feet of sewer line, is estimated at approximately $20,000. np & 35. replacement that fluid I $ Seeds Doz.
