Show Newlyweds Honored At Open House Ian. 21 atParagonah By Iiilma Lamoreaux Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Topham of Salt Lake City were honored at a reception in the Paragonah Ward Cultural Hall Saturday evening, Jan. 21. Parents of the new bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham Sr., hosted the affair and assisted in receiving the guests. Lee Arlen Topham stood as best man for his brother and Miss Kristine Jensen attend the new Mrs. Topham. Top-ham. The bride was attired in a white suit accented by a lovely orchid corsage. The beautiful wedding cake was decorated with orchids and the same colors were carried out in the refreshments. Waldo Topham was master of ceremonies for an interesting program which included the following fol-lowing numbers: A vocal duet by Russell and Nadine Dodge, accompanied by Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson; a trumpet solo by Dewey Topham, who was also accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Robinson; readings by Gordon Topham and Mrs. Ruth Boardman; a vocal solo by Myron Abbott, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Melva Barton and a saxophone solo by Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson, accompanied by Mrs. Wilma Lamoreaux. Following the program dancing was enjoyed for the remainder of the evening. Miss Nancy Topham was at the guest register, Mrs. Effie Rey-nols Rey-nols was in charge of the serv- ing, assisted by Mrs. Afton Topham. Top-ham. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Topham, Top-ham, McLean Simkins and Lyman Ly-man Dodge. The gifts were taken care of by Mrs. Glenna Dodge, Mrs. Elma Simkins, Nadine Dodge, Jacqueline Jensen, Klea Abbott, Evelyn Manuelito and Mrs. George A. Topham. |
