Show Couple Exchange Vows In Temple Ceremony The Salt Lake Temple was the setting Monday, Nov. 11 for the marriage ceremony uniting Miss Marian Palmer and Richard Benjamin Mieremet. Miere-met. Theodore Burton, Assistant Assis-tant to the Council of the Twelve of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints performed the ceremony-Miss ceremony-Miss Palmer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Palmer formerly of Cedar City now living in Washington, D. C. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Hendriek Mieremet Miere-met of Salt Lake City. Parents of the bride gave a wedding breakfast in the Pioneer Room, Hotel Utah, following fol-lowing the ceremony and in the evening the newlyweds greeted friends at an open house hosted' by Mr. and Mrs. Mieremet. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer will later honor the new Mr. and Mrs. Mieremet with a wedding reception to be given in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Miss Palmer's pale ivory bridal gown was by Cristos, modern Victori-an In style with bell shaped skirt and flowing train. It was of lustrus silk satin trimmed with point de Venice lace. She carried an Heirloom bouquet of satin roses. . Parties were given by Mrs. Melbourne. Steele, Mrs. Ira Telford of Chevy Chase, Maryland; Mary-land; Mrs.. .Osmond Hyde, Nensington, Maryland, and Mrs. Jesse R. Smith, Washington, Washing-ton, D. C; Mrs, Noel Strom-berg, Strom-berg, Mrs. Ronald, Bailey and Mrs. Grant .Seaman of Salt Lake City. . . . ; The W. Arthur Jones home in Cedar City was the location for an Open.Ho'use. Mrs. Leo Palmer and - Mrs. Robert K. Palmer honored Mr. and Mrs. Mieremet with a buffet dinner and a breakfast was given by Mrs. Lex Wilkinson. Following a honeymoon trip to the Southwest, Mr. and Mrs. Mieremet . will live in Silver Springs, Maryland |
