Show IH; - '''7 ' "I ! j - t if I v : ( . t$h TEMPLE VOWS were exchanged by this young couple on Friday, June 26. They are Mr. and Mrs. Kent D. Morris. The bride is the former Miss Sharon Grant of New Harmony. j Sharon Grant, Kent D.Morris Exchange Vows, Receive Honors at Reception at New Harmony Miss Sharon Grant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Grant of New Harmony, and Kent D. Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Durham Dur-ham Morris of Cedar City, were married In rites solemnized on Friday, June 2C in the St George Temple. For the occasion the bride chose a floor length gown of French rose-point lace and nylon ny-lon tulle. The slim fitting bodice of lace featured long sleeves and: a sabrlna neckline accented with seed pearls and esquins. The skirt was of tulle with overlaysj of lace. 1 Her finger-tip veil of illusion fell from a cap of sequins and crystal beads. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of jellow rose buds and white jtephonltis. Mrs. Avey Davis was matron of honor and was attired In a yellow taffeta sheath dress enhanced en-hanced by a net ovorsklrt. She carried pink Glamelia's. Tiny flower girls, Karen Grane and RoAnne Morris wore white dresses dress-es and carried baskets of pink and white daisies. Howard Milne stood as best man. Ushers were Miles D. Morris, Mor-ris, Haymer D. Morris and William Wil-liam "Bill" Lamb. Miss Laureda Prince was at the guest book. In the gift room were Miss Kay Dawn Pace, Mrs. Erma Ncilson and Mrs. Roene Morris. In the kitchen were Mrs. Iris Corry, Mrs. Doneva Prisbrey, and Mrs. Vada Grant. Serving were Annette Frince, Carol Petty, Vickie Vick-ie Huntsman, Claudine Prince and Verlene Kelsry. The mothers of the bride and bridegroom wore pink dresses enhanced en-hanced by corsages of pink rose buds. I The new Mrs. Morris is a graduate grad-uate of Cedar City High School and has attended College of Southern Utah for the past three, years. She received her associate of science certificate in 1958. Mr. Morris is a graduate of Cedar High School and has been! attending the University of Utah' for the past three years. He has been an honor student there. After a honeymoon in Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park the couple are making a summer home in Cedar City. This fall Mr. Morris' will enter the school of dentistry! i at the University of Southern' California. I |
