Show Evalo Corry, Ronald Anderson Wed In Temple Ceremony Miss Evalo Corry, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Theo Corry, was united in marriage to Rnnald Anderson, An-derson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Anderson of Fillmore on Feb. 21). in the Manli L D S temple. tem-ple. Saturday, Feb. 27 a reception recep-tion honoring the couple was held at the home of the bride's parents in Cedar Ciiv. The new Mrs. Anderson was attended at-tended at the reception by Miss Jerry Dover as maid of honor. The Misses Barbara Anderson, Oiell Merryweather I nd Carol Williams were bridesmaids for tin1 nuptial occasion. Miss Joette Corry was flower qirl Standing in the reception line in the capacity ca-pacity of best man was Herbert Ray Corry, brother of ihe bride. The bride was dressed in white lace and taffeta and she carried a bouquet of pale pink roses. The bridesmaids were dressed in pink and blue, alternately, and each carried a bo'jqnet of pink sweet peas. The flower girl also carried a basket of pink sweet peas. Spring Theme The home was beautifully decorated dec-orated for the occasion uith the , theme of spring canied out using us-ing pink candles and pink and white tulips with pussy willows adding a touch of dignity. Further assistance for the occasion oc-casion was rendered by Clifton Peterson, Salt Lake City, uncle of the groom who acted as usher. Mrs. Helen Biederman, aunt of the bride, acted as hostess in the dining room while the Misses Pauline Sevy, Marian Sevy and Renee Jones served. Mi.5, Made-Ion Made-Ion Isom and Mrs. Karma Jolley helped in the gift room. Helping in the kitchen were Mrs. LaRue Wood, Nina Palmer, Annie Corry and Blanche Corry. I The bride and groom will make 'their home in Fillmore after a honeymoon which will take them , to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mex-I Mex-I ico and through southern Ari-'zona Ari-'zona and California where Mr. Anderson had previously served as an L D S missionary. Both are graduates of the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural College. Miss Corry was honored at several sev-eral pre-nuptial showers. Monday, Mon-day, Feb. 22 a group of school companions gave her a kitchen shower at the home of Miss Barbara Bar-bara Anderson, with Miss Anderson Ander-son and Miss Orell Merryweather acting as co-hostesses. |
