Show Announcement Made Of Engagement In New York City Announcement has been, made of the engagement of Miss Donna Mae Radovich, a daughter of Mrs. Clara T. Radovich of Mid-vale, Mid-vale, to John W. Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Christensen Chris-tensen of Cedar City. The announcement an-nouncement was made from New York City. Miss Radovich is a graduate of the University of Utah and received re-ceived an M.A. degree from the teachers college of Columbia university uni-versity at New York. She received a "president's scholarship" this fall and is now continuing her graduate studies. While at the University of Utah Miss Radovich was secretary and vice president of the A S U U; president of Delta Gamma and Alpha Lambda Delta; elected to Beehive, Phi Kappa Phi, Mortar Board, Gwean, Spur of the Moment, Mo-ment, and attendant to U-Days queen. At teachers college she was elected to Pi Lambda Theta and Kappa Delta Pi, scholastic honorarles. Mr. Christensen was graduated as valedictorian of his class at the Univeristy of Utah. He was a member of Sigma Nu, Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. He received re-ceived the national Phi Kappa Phi scholarship award for graduate grad-uate work at the California In-! stitute of Technology at Pasadena. Pasa-dena. He then entered the defense de-fense training program, where he j became a member of the teach-1 ing staffs of the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college, Utah State Ag-1 ricultural college and the Univer-1 sity of Utah. I During World War II he was engaged in counter-measures and 1 studied missile research at Harvard Har-vard University's radio research! laboratory. He received citations' from the War Department and the U. S. Navy for his contribu-tions contribu-tions to these fields. |
