Show Harriette Humphfus Recites Vows In Double Ring Rites Miss Harriette Humphfus and Sheldon K. Bowler exchanged vows Friday evening, Mar. 20 in a double-ring ceremony at the LDS Stake house with president Elwood Corry officiating. I The bride was given In marriage mar-riage by her grandfather, John A. Dalton of Parowan. Following the wedding the couple was feted at a reception. Assisting In receiving the guests . were Mrs. Lee Wood, mother of i the bride; Mrs. Caine Christensen, 1 mother of the bridegroom, and the bride's attendants, Mrs. Clella Rasmussen, sister of the bride, as matron of honor; Miss Joanne Lunt, maid of .honor and Miss Bonnie Williams, Miss Marjorie Crabtree, Miss Jackie Hammell and Miss Judee Wood as brides-, brides-, maids. '' j Flower girls were Vickie Chris-I Chris-I tensen, sister of the bridegroom, : and his niece, Marilyn Staheli. Standing as best man was Douglas Bowler, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Nell Gentry, Phil Yergensen and Keith Foulger. The lovely bride was radiant In an original gown of white organdie organ-die trimmed In Imported lace Insertion In-sertion with sequins and seed pearls. Her fingertip veil fell from a pearl and sequin trimmed trim-med crown. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of pink roses and white daisies. The bride's mother wore a rose beige sheath dress and the mother of the bridegroom chose a white brocaded sheath dress fnr the occasion. Yh gift room was supervised by the bride's aunt, Mrs. James A. Mercer. She was assisted by Norma Lee Mercer, Mary Clark and Mary Lou Peterson. |
