Show Reception to Honor Newlyweds Saturday A Spring reception was held In Cedar City Saturday night In honor of newlyweds., Phyllis and Dale LaMar Gillins who were wed recently in Ely, Nev: The nuptial party took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Crabtree, 33 2 South 200 West. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Gillins of Milford, Utah. For the occasion, Phyllis greeted guests in a white wedding gown of floor length, styled from satin and lace. The tiny buttons centered in front and the high neckline enhanced the beauty of the gown. To complete com-plete the bridal ensemble Phyllis wore a pearl studded tiara with an attached veil of french Illusion. Illu-sion. She was adorned with a corsage of pink carnations and rose buds. Serving the bride as her matron mat-ron of honor was her sister, Joyce Messer, Miss Coleen Bulloch was maid of honor. The bridegroom's sister, Karen Gillins was a bridesmaid with Wendy and Glenna Crabtree assisting as Junior Ju-nior Bridesmaids. Petite DeAnne Ogden was in the wedding line vVX i . -' i MRS. DALE GILUNS i I t as a flower girl. Honoring Dale as his best man was Richard Bradshaw, while Jbc'x Crabtree and Kent Gillins were ushers. I Floral decorations fit the color theme chosen for the reception as well as dresses of the atten- dan ia which were of like material mater-ial in pink and torquoise. Greeting callers at the guest book was Marge Ogden. Kitchen , hostesses were Re a Carter,' Yvonne Bulloch and Hilda Parry, I assisted by serving girls, Suzan Sargent and Elma Lee Orton. In the gift room during the evening was Sherlene Barnes. Following the social event of their wedding the couple returned return-ed to Salt Lake City where they are both employed at the Salt Lake Hardware. |
