Spevak repeated marriage promises Saturday, August 1st. in a ceremony performed at the New Harmony Ward Chapel. Officiating Of-ficiating at the double-ring services ser-vices was Bishop Sheldon B. Grant. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darce M. Prince. New Harmony. Mr. Spevak is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex P. Spevak Spe-vak of Cedar City. For the nuptials, the bride was dressed in a white taffeta overdress. over-dress. The gown featured long pointed sleeves, appliqucd lace embroidered with pearl sequins and a tiered lace under dress. Back interest was added with a five-tiered boufant o'fect. Her shoulder-length veil of nylon tulle featured three tiers and was held to a tiara of pearls. The bridal bouquet was made up of white gladiolas. Attending the bride were her matron of honor, Mrs. Ronald Haider, along with the bridesmaids, brides-maids, Miss Carol Petty, Miss Sharon Adams, Miss Gail Humphries, Hum-phries, and Mrs. Richard Beatty. The attendants were dressed in matching dresses of blue shaded satin with shoes to match. Their dresses were accented with white gladiolas shaded with blue edges. Best man for the occasion was Ronald Haider. Ushers were Gene Smith, Vernile Prince, Roy Perry and Ralph Wayne Lamoreaux. The bride's mother was dressed in a yellow sheath of acetate bou-cle bou-cle with matching acresRories Mother of the bridegroom wore a light beige sheath of shantun. Both mothers wore corsages of white gladiolas with blue edge trim. At a reception following the wedding, piano music was furnished fur-nished by Mrs. Halvor Jones and Mrs. Jay Perry. Other musical numbers were given by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Worthen, Mrs. Harlin Durrand, and Kmile Dostelak. Acting as host and hostess during dur-ing the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Mrs. Gene Smith and Mrs. Sam Jones were at the guest book. Gift room attendants were Mrs. Harry Knell, Mrs. Dean Hall, Mrs. Eldon Ash- down and Mrs. Winston Seeg-miller. Seeg-miller. Kitchen hostesses wee Mrs. Anthon Pace, Mrs. Tom Pefrce, Mrs. Lyle Prince, Mrs. Sheldon Grant and Mrs. Horrace Hall. Pouring were Mrs. Ted Garrett and Mrs. Willard Wood. Serving were Marsha Harrison, Eileen Seegmillcr, Louise Seegmiller, Deanna Prince and Velda Grant. Decorating of the Cultural Hall for the reception was done by Mamie Huntsman. Prior to her marriage the bride was guest of honor at two separate se-parate bridal showers. Hostesses at these events were Mrs. Gene Smith, Miss Sharon Adams, Mrs. Winston Seegmiller and Mrs. Tom Pearce. For her going away outfit the bride choose a pink dress with white accessories. After a honeymoon trip to California, Cal-ifornia, the couple will make their home in Cedar City. |
