RHODES Minnie Jane Roberts Rhodes, 72, of 136 East 200 North, Cedar City, died Friday September 29, 1978 in the Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 12, 1906 in Fossil, Wyoming to James Buchanan and Martha E. Yoakum Roberts. On June 25, 1925 she married her sweetheart George William Rhodes in Modina, Utah. To this marriage was born twelve children. She was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include 5 sons and 5 daughters: Wilber G. of Cedar City, Mrs. Dean (Nancy) Smith, of Cedar Fort; George Nathan of Fillmore; Alvin E. of Cedar City; William Eldon of Cedar City; Mrs. Rodney (Marie) Jones of Fredonia; James W. of Fillmore; Mrs. Kent (Joyce) Munford of Cedar City; Mrs. Robert (Karen) Kuhn of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lee (JoAnn) Bullock of Cedar City; 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters: Alonzo Roberts, of Tooele, Jesse Roberts of Blackfoot, Idaho; Mrs. Elizabeth Petty of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Ralph (Lucille) Mower of Montana and Mrs. Margaret Floreas. Funeral services were held Tuesday October 3, 1978 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar First LDS Ward Chapel. Interment in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
