Seegmiller Funeral services were held in the Cedar Eighth Ward Chapel Monday afternoon for West W. Seegmiller, 59, who died Friday, May 31, following a long illness. He was born Jan. 1, 1909, in Kanab, a son of William W. and Ada Pratt Seegmiller. He .narried Elsie Hackmeister on June 17, 1932, In Salt Lake City. He was a certified public pub-lic accountant, an owner of the Desert Pearl Cafs in Cedar City, and a member of BPOE, Lodge No. 1556. Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Boyd (Jaine) Adams, Cedar City, and Mrs. LaVar (Kaye) Wade, Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, grandchil-dren, and the following brothers bro-thers and sisters: Gail, Mrs. Rulon (Zona) Wood, both Cedar Ce-dar City; Mrs. Chester (Jenor) Whitelaw, St. George; Mrs. Ben (LaHue) Dlerlnger, Rock Candy Mountain, Garfield; County; Pratt, Marysvale; Mn Kent (Lorna) Robinson, Kent, both Murray; Garth, Provo, Charlie, Carbondale, Colo.; ant Wan, Sacramento, Calif. Funeral services were con ducted by Bishop Ardee. Childs. Speakers were Ottt Fife and Elwood Corry. Invo cation was by Preston Wood, benediction by Wan Seegmn ler, and dedication of tlu grave by Boyd Adams. Prayt. at the mortuary was by Rulo. Wood. Graveside services wei. conducted by the Elks Lodgt The musical program in eluded a vocal solo, "In tin Garden," by Susan Seegmille. accompanied by Colleen Sand herg; a vocal duet, "End of a Perfect Day," by Floyd Rig by and Christine Winterrose and a vocal solo, "Home on the Range," by Mr. Rigby. Accompanist for the last two numbers was Ruth Ann Knight. Prelude and postlude music was by Christy Brad-shaw. |
